PHILLIP M'S AWARDED MISSISSIPPI'S ONLY 2012 WINE SPECTATOR AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

CHOCTAW, Miss. (August 9, 2012)  – Since reopening in January, Phillip M’s has once again solidified itself as the best fine dining restaurant in the South, receiving Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence. Phillip M’s, which is named in honor of the late Tribal Chief Phillip Martin, was the only Casino restaurant in Mississippi to be named as one of the 2012 Restaurant Wine List Award Winners. The recognition was published in the August 31 issue, which hit newsstands on July 24.

Wine Spectator Magazine features wine reviews, including detailed tasting notes and analysis to provide their readers with their top picks of the finest wine. Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Wine List Awards recognize restaurants with wine lists that offer selections that complement their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine connoisseurs.

In addition to fine wines, Phillip M’s offer delicious signature dishes such as Lamb Pegas and Veal de Bartagna. The restaurant is located at Silver Star Hotel & Casino. For more information on Phillip M’s, visit www.pearlriverresort.com or call 1.866.447.3275.
