WATER PARK MAINTENANCE MANAGER

 

                                                                                               

POSITION TITLE:  WATER PARK MAINTENANCE MANAGER - FULL-TIME - SHIFT - DAYS   

 

SALARY RANGE:  Salaried                                           SUPERVISOR:          Exec Dir of Construction

JOB LOCATION:   Choctaw Resort Development Enterprise (CRDE) - Construction Management

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Direct the day to day operation of the facilities maintenance department.

·         Work with the Water Feature Engineers to develop and maintain an ongoing and effective training program.

·         Conduct meetings and regularly update team members about operations.

·         Develop procedures to reduce guest complaints.

·         Maintain adherence to all areas of the associate hand book.

·         Provide assistance and guidance to the Water Feature Engineers in the performance of all duties.

·         Monitor and develop programs to control and reduce energy consumption.

·         Maintain the department budget.

·         Work with all department heads to maintain a high level of communication.

·         Meet with other departments to maintain open lines of communication.

·         Perform weekly walkthroughs with the Executive Director of Construction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.

·         Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.

·         An Associates Degree (AA) from a two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of 10 years related previous experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         A minimum of two (2) years previous experience in the development and controlling of a repair and maintenance budget in excess of three (3) million dollars.

·         A minimum of three (3) years previous experience in the development and completion of building maintenance related projects.

·         Must possess good communications skills, both written and verbal.

·         Must have previous experience in the evaluation of utility services and cost controls.

·         Must possess prior experience in developing staffing levels and measuring current effectiveness and productivity.

·         Must have (3) years experience working with high voltage, large horsepower pumps, filteration equipment.

·         Must have previous experience in the development or performance of preventative maintenance programs.

·         Must have demonstrated experience in developing working relationships with outside vendors and contractors.

·         Must have a good working knowledge of computers and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

·         Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license.

·         Must be able to lift a minimum of ninety (90) pounds.

·         Must be able to work or stand 90% of assigned shift.

·         Must be able to stoop, kneel, climb and/or bend during shift.

·         Exposed to hazardous cleaning type chemicals.

·         Exposed to hazardous water treatment chemicals.
